Hello, my name is Jonas and i live in Belgium.
Together with 2 of my friends we are starting up a Belgian Lada rally team.
we have 2 Lada 2101 cars in the "build up" stadium, and 1 lada 2101 that is already in use.
Next to these cars we have a fully prepared Samara and a 2105 for regularity races.

we want to participate in 1(or more) regional rally's in Hungary, but i cant find the correct information on the internet.
Where can i find a calender with data and locations of the regional Hungarian rally's?

If you guys want to see some pictures of our cars, i will post them here.
I'm sure 1 of our lada's 2101 will be very familiar to some of the people on this board :-)

2013. 05. 10-12 Miskolc Rallye (ORB, R2, Historic)
2013. 06. 1-2 Bükfürdő rallye (ORB, R2)
2013. 07. 12-14 Veszprém Rallye (ORB, R2)
2013. 08. 24-25. Baranya Kupa (R2, Historic)
2013. 09. 6-8 Kassa Rallye (ORB)
2013. 10.4-6 Budapest Rallye (ORB, R2, Historic)
2013. 11. 07-09 Mecsek Rallye (His. EB, Zóna His., Zóna, ORB, R2)

The next is Budapest rally, here you can find the things to know: http://www.duen.hu/info/131004_Budapest ... kiiras.pdf Hope i could help something.

@spark01: thx for the information.

@pavel: the red 2101 is almost ready.
we removed the twin cam engine and refitted a lada 1.6 engine.
(we need to race with an engine that came originally with the car.)
also changed the rear axle because there where some cracks in the housing.
at the moment we are working on a new dashboard and finishing the wiring.
car is already running.

i will take some good pictures next week and post them here.

and a picture of the 3th Lada 2101
Image

only the suspension has been uprated, original engine is still in the car.
but the new engine is already bought, and arrives in 2 weeks in Belgium.
1.7 on Webers and other nice stuff. i hope to reach 130 -135HP after tweaking on the Dyno.

Only problem we have in Belgium is that there are almost no Lada parts available, so we need to buy everything in other country's :(

The perfect excuse to buy some extra lada parts :D (and pick up my engine)
are there any Lada shops in Budapest we can visite?
we are still looking for a complete rally exhaust and a difflock for the 2101.

any other things we need to visite in or around Budapest that is car minded?

Please tell me if you find something interesting as a difflock... I'm looking for a Quaife type, not with discs... just to avoid rebuilding it!
Maybe you could go buy a camshaft at Gaal Motorsport!
http://gaalmotorsport.hu/

I bought my exhaust at Industar kft.

Hi guys.
I travel Dunkerque-Budapest-Dunkerque 2-3 times a year. If you can't manage the shipping, I can help you to transport small parts (for example a differential) to Belgium or France, but just on my way, between Aachen and Dunkerque ferry port. I don't ask any money for this.

Thx guys,

i really like this forum!

@Drcooper: if i find something interesting i let you know.

@SPI: interesting... maybe we can work something out.
i will send you a PM soon.

we are leaving Thursday morning, and hopefully arrive in Budapest Thursday evening.
so we have got all Friday to drive around and buy Lada parts.
Saturday is Rally-time, and Sunday morning back to Belgium.

the only thing left is book an apartment nearby the Budapest Rallye. any suggestions for 4 persons?

gr,
Jonas

Török exhaust pics:
https://picasaweb.google.com/andras.bon ... directlink

Vid.:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-3pmK45J0M (Stock 1.5 engine, stock carb & LPG)

I'm not satisfied with the sound, the low freq-s are OK very "sportly", but this high freq clatter is crappy, so we mounted a new end on it. In 1-2 weeks we're able to start my new engine, and I will take a video about it...

You can find pics in my post.
I find the sound quite good, it really depends on the carb setup. A little bit high with original carb, but really sporty with my twin solexes!

battery support is out, still needs some filler and paint.
also started with sorting out the wiring.

Does anybody have experience with Janodob?
if i look at the website of Janodob they do seem to build some nice stuff.
i already mailed them, but did not get a reply back.

i also mailed with szuromituning(friendly and helpful people) to buy a exhaust but they only can deliver the exhaust and not the "vfts style"manifold.
Torokestorok does not reply at my mail.

i am looking for this type of manifold

thx,
Jonas

Janodob isn't far from us. I looked what you want, but you have to know that there're two system of Lada which work. First, when 4 goes into 1. This is what you like to do, but this system only works at a very high revolution intervall and full throttle. If you'd like to get some torque you should use 4-2-1 system. The type of the camshaft is very important. Please let me know about it. Who made it, symmetrical or asymetrical, opening and closing degree? :)
